BIM Manager

Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking a BIM Manager for a leading UK construction and regeneration group, based near Reading. This is a full-time, permanent position with hybrid working, requiring on-site presence twice a week.

Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Role Overview:

As the BIM Manager, you'll oversee both internal and external projects, collaborating with architects, design teams, and contractors. Key responsibilities include developing BIM execution plans from client requirements, conducting clash detection, model reviews and asset data checking. You'll manage a diverse team, provide mentorship and ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations.

Key Duties:

Establish and update BIM execution plans, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 standards.

Use tools like Solibri for data checking and Navisworks for geometry and clash detection.

Manage the common data environment, coordinating document and model storage.

Lead BIM meetings, manage delivery timelines, and mentor team members.

Required Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Enscape, and Solibri
• Experience in a Leadership / Management role within the BIM industry
• ISO 19650 knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of common data environment and Electronic Data Management Systems such as Autodesk Construction Cloud

Qualifications:

Degree or HNC/D in a BIM-related or engineering discipline.
