Group IFRS Manager (M&A Focus)
Contract Length: 12 months (ASAP Start)
Location: Paddington, London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Pay Rate: Up to £600 per day
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Group IFRS Manager with a strong focus on M&A and Group functions to join a leading global organisation on a 12-month interim basis. This role requires a technical accounting specialist who can provide expert guidance on complex transactions, particularly in relation to IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical accounting advice for M&A activities and Group functions.
Advise on complex IFRS-related accounting questions, with a focus on IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
Support the finance team with complex commercial transactions and reporting.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including auditors and finance teams, to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
Requirements:
ACA/ACCA qualified with substantial post-qualification experience.
Expertise in IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
Experience in M&A, handling complex accounting transactions.
Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work independently and self-support.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
