Job Description

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing MEP projects within scope, budget, and timeline. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Your expertise will be crucial in driving project success and enhancing client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget. Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. Technical Oversight: Oversee the design and engineering processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications, conducting regular reviews and inspections. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and project financials are accurately reported. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards. Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within MEP projects in a consulting environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and technologies. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
