Position Summary: As a Bilingual Graphic Designer on the Marketing team, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging and accessible designs for a variety of projects, from marketing collateral to video editing to UX elements. You will need to have a strong creative flair, be detail-oriented, and able to translate written or spoken ideas into cohesive designs that reflect our brand standards and guidelines. Additionally, you will ensure that all visual materials meet AODA compliance standards, making content accessible to all. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Creative Design (50%): Develop creative, including cohesive designs and video, that inspire and attract target audiences across various media, including websites, social media, print, and more. Brand Design (5%): Maintain consistent branding across all platforms, ensuring that the visual identity aligns with the company's mission and values. Marketing Collateral (30%): Create visual aspects for marketing materials, websites, social media, infographics, icons, and photographs that meet client requirements and effectively communicate their message. UI/UX Design (5%): Collaborate with product and development teams to design user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for both the web and mobile app versions of our telehealth platform. Support in reviewing and translating any Marketing & Communications materials and documents Project Execution (5%): Take direction from design briefs, client information, and spoken or written ideas, and convert them into visual concepts for approval. Carry projects from initial drafts through to final execution. Special projects (5%): Additional duties may be assigned by the manager as needed to support the evolving needs of the organization. Ongoing practices across all responsibilities: Collaboration: To be effective in this role, you will work alongside different team members from across the organization, including marketing, communication, product, to produce high-quality work. Through continuous collaboration, you will ensure consistency and alignment across business units and maintain regular communication with multiple stakeholders, including occasional collaboration with the global creative team. Communication: Effectively communicate project status and any issues or resolutions. Production Capabilities: Work efficiently in a high-paced environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines with solid production capabilities. The time spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to change dependent on business needs. Qualifications Expected for this Position Fluent in both French and English Minimum of 1-3 years of graphic design experience required Strong and proven creative flair with excellent graphic design and layout skills, and attention to detail. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and other design tools. Knowledge of AODA standards and accessibility principles for creating compliant digital and print materials is mandatory. Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects), ability to crop and edit filmed audio and visual, and ability to produce video effects. Familiarity with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is a plus. Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles. Understanding of social media trends and their impact on visual content. Attributes: Reliable and accountable with a strong sense of ownership and pride in your work.
