Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join a reputable residential home builder in Calgary. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating the cost of building single-family homes and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for single-family homes Work with project managers and architects to identify project requirements, specifications, and deadlines. Analyze construction drawings and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates. Provide support to the sales team by preparing pricing proposals and responding to RFPs. Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and other members of the team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential construction estimating. Expertise in the latest estimating software and advanced technology. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
