37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Glasgow Airport

Air Import Agent - What you’ll be doing

As our Air Import Agent, you’ll play a significant role in overseeing the air import operations from our facility close to Glasgow Airport. Responsibilities will include:

• Creating, managing and maintaining the movement of imported Air freight
• Liaising with airlines and DHL offices for Air freight planning and coordination
• Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant
• Adhering to Customs Compliance procedures and documentation
• Being a customer point of contact for updates and addressing their enquiries
• Liaising directly with Carriers and Handling Agents to resolve issues as they arise
• Develop internal/external customer relations to grow existing business
• Follow up on growth opportunities using Quoteshop

About you

Previous experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is essential for this role. You’ll also have:

• Knowledge of exports/imports and related processes
• Ideally experience with HMRC procedures
• Office/administration experience
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• The ability to work cross-functionally and with multiple projects simultaneously
• A high attention to detail and accuracy
