I’m currently working with a contractor who are an accredited provider of gas, electricity and water connections. The business is predominantly a utility infrastructure provider, but has recently acquired other business such as Civils, M&E, building company the list continues.

Based in London, they are looking to add to their commercial team and are recruiting for a competent Quantity Surveyor on a permanent contract.

The Candidate:

• 3-5 years’ experience or more (ideally in civils, utilities or construction)
• Happy to work majority from home
• Ideally degree qualified or HNC
• Ideally resides in South Wales or Bristol
• Hugely motivated, driven and keen to progress

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for commercial function which essentially will revolve around managing the budget of the project against the actual costs.
• Carry out the procurement and establish the estimated final costs before work commences.

Package:

• They will report directly into the head of commercial
• working hours are 8.30 to 5pm
• Salary flexible depending on the level of candidate
