Civil Site Managers/Supervisors

Job Description
Aqua-Tech Recruitment have a requirement for 3 Civil Site Managers to oversee pipelaying on a range of water treatment plants.
Reporting to the Project manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a construction site. This role will be site-based coordinating and monitoring performance to hit the programme timescales and deliver the project on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to staff and the public
* Supervising construction workers
* Buying materials for each phase of the project
* Monitoring build costs and project progress
* Conducting quality and safety inspections
* Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
* Identify potential issues and develop solutions to mitigate risk
* Maintaining quality control checks
* Motivating the workforce
* Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
* Work collaboratively with the Project Manager and design team
* Working on-site in all weathers, at clients’ businesses or in a site office.
* Ensure all construction work activities are completed on time and within budget.
Required
* CSCS card
* SMSTS 5-day training course
* EUSR Water Hygiene
* Temp works supervisor
* Manual handling
* Emergency first aid
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* NEBOSH
* IOSH
* Temporary works coordinator
* Educated to Degree or HND level
* CITB site manager safety training scheme
