Continuing its expansion and acquiring new properties across the country, they are always looking for talented, adaptable, energetic and passionate individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Your new role As Lease Administrator, you will be responsible lease administration in collaboration with the lease administration team, accounting team and the executive team for the commercial real estate portfolio. Responsibilities include: Maintain database of tenant contact information, lease documentation for lease expiries, renewals, etc.; Coordination and proper filing of electronic communications within system folders; Become acquainted with tenant lease provisions in order to maintain reports on landlord / tenant responsibilities (HVAC, grease traps, etc), as well as tenant preventive maintenance contracts/reports, etc; Become acquainted with Lease default provisions to be able to determine course of action for problematic tenant files; Ensure all annual insurance certificates remain current for each tenant in all properties and updating the monthly insurance reports for all properties, in collaboration with the Lease Administrator; Assist in the distribution of the occupancy forms for tenants moving in, and checklist guide/ key remittance forms for tenants moving out as per company guidelines, in collaboration with the Lease Administrator; Become acquainted with the different templates, for standard written communication with tenants; Assist in the distribution of pertinent lease-related correspondence to tenants as per company guidelines. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years in a lease administration, strong experience with MS office, experience with Yardi (Asset), is a team plater, strong time management skills and are bilingual (EN/FR) What you'll get in return In return you will receive up to 3 weeks vacations, insurance benefits, 5 days PTO and opportunities for growth within a well established national employer.
