Job Title: DevOps Engineer Type: Contract role Level: Mid level Location: Vancouver / Calgary, Canada (Hybrid 2-3 days Onsite) / Washington US (Remote) Duration: ASAP to June 30th, 2025, with strong potential for extension 2. About the job - We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the CI/CD and orchestration systems that drive our Engage platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our fast-paced development cycle. 3. Summary of the opportunity - In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the CI/CD and orchestration systems that power our Engage platform. You will collaborate with various teams to analyze failures and performance, and ensure the security and privacy of our customers. Additionally, you will contribute to our on-call rotation, providing support and resolving any issues that arise. 4. What are the key responsibilities? - Responsibilities and Duties: - Design, implement, maintain, and evolve the CI/CD and orchestration systems for Engage. - Develop and maintain tooling to support a fast development cycle and accelerate engineers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze failures, performance, and security. - Contribute to our on-call rotation to ensure timely support and issue resolution. 5. What experience are we looking for to drive success? - MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications: - Proficiency in Google Kubernetes, Apache Mesos, Docker Swarm, Docker, Rocket, and LXC. - Strong knowledge of Linux, Ubuntu, CoreOS, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform. - Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Python, Java. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Spinnaker, GitHub, and GitLab. - Experience with test-driven development, integration testing, and related tooling like Azure DevOps K8s, Pipelines, Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis CI, and CircleCI. - Preferred Skills and Qualifications: - Additional experience with cloud technologies and platforms. - Familiarity with other containerization and orchestration tools. - Knowledge of different software development methodologies. 6.
