HR Recruiter

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This role will be an integral part of our team, playing a crucial role in the sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the company's applicant tracking system and overseeing background checks.This position is based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and priority will be given to local candidates. Please note that the role requires full on-site presence at least one week per month, and this expectation is non-negotiable.Responsibilities:- Develop and post job advertisements to attract potential candidates.- Utilize various sourcing strategies to attract potential candidates.- Schedule interviews with potential candidates.- Conduct interviews to assess candidate suitability for the role.- Manage the onboarding process for new hires.- Foster networking opportunities to establish a pool of potential candidates.- Maintain and update the Applicant Track System.- Oversee the process of background checks for potential hires.- Manage communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.- Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other financial services tools to streamline tasks.This position is based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and priority will be given to local candidates. Please note that the role requires full on-site presence at least one week per month, and this expectation is non-negotiable.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR recruiting or a related role is required- Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is expected- Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is beneficial- Familiarity with Careerbuilder is advantageous- CRM skills are essential for managing relationships with candidates and clients- Experience with About Time software is desirable- Proficiency in using Applicant Track System for processing applications- Capability to conduct thorough background checks on potential hires- Understanding of Benefit Functions within the HR scope- Excellent communication skills for interacting with job applicants, hiring managers and other stakeholdersThis position is based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and priority will be given to local candidates.
