Finance Manager

Robert Half is partnering with a well renowned organization located in Orleans, Ottawa. This is a full-time/permanent/on site position as a Finance Manager. Advantages:-Competitive salary (75-80K)-Full benefits-3 weeks vacation-Excellent leadership/mentor-Opportunity for advancementResponsibilities:-Oversee the preparation of weekly cash movement and online payments-Manage the review of weekly payroll for multiple companies, including remittances and union dues-Supervise the review of Accounts Payable entries and coordinate monthly cheque runs for various companies-Assist in preparing intercompany back charges and account reconciliations-Handle the preparation of monthly progress billing and invoicing to customers-Contribute to the month-end close process and conduct project cost analysis and general ledger reconciliation-Participate in the production of financial statements and other reports-Participate in the annual budget and forecasting-Assist with any audits from the Canada Revenue Agency-Perform other accounting related duties as neededQualifications:-Post secondary education such as a Bachelors degree is required-Must be actively pursuing the CPA program to be considered-3 years of experience in a similar role as a Finance Manager/Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant-Proficient in Microsoft Excel-Experience in Full Cycle Accounting is needed-Strong attention to detail is needed-Eager to learn and the ability to multitask-Excellent communication skills with the team and with management is imperativePlease note that this is a fully on site roleJob Reference Number: 0013066424Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
