Job Title : IT Client Consultant - Project Manager Location: Toronto, Hybrid Job Type: Contract, 1 year We are seeking an experienced Project Manage r for our client, who will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects by managing business case documentation, leading proof of concept (PoC) initiatives, gathering business requirements, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that align with the organization’s strategic goals while ensuring effective communication, timely delivery, and risk mitigation . Key Responsibilitie s:Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to create detailed business cases that define the project’s objectives, costs, risks, and benefits and document the business case s.Lead PoC efforts to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions or new technologie s.Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to gather business requirements from key stakeholder s.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and budget s.Track project progress against the plan, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions when neede d.Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycl e.Provide regular status updates, manage expectations, and ensure clear communication across all levels of the organizatio n.Work with stakeholders to manage project changes, ensuring that scope, budget, and timelines are adjusted and communicated accordingl y.Ensure comprehensive project documentation is created and maintained, including project charters, business cases, and post-project review s. Qualificatio ns:Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Information Technology, or related fie ld.2-3 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record in business case development, PoC management, and requirement gatheri ng.Prior experience with Operational technology projects will be considered an ass et.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practic es.Excellent communication and presentation skil ls.Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting prioriti es.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skil ls.
