Job Description
**Job Title:** MRI Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology - MRI Tech
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Day, 5x8-Hour (12:30 - 21:00)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent experience
**License:** Valid state license required
**Certifications:** COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster required; no exemptions
**Must-Have:** Pediatric experience preferred
**Job Description:**
- Work in a children's facility with 300 staffed beds.
- Collaborate with a team of 2 techs each day, shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Handle a daily caseload of 8 patients per tech.
- Experience in a Magnet, Teaching, and Level Trauma facility.
- Use Cerner for charting.
- Wear child-friendly scrubs with no logos.
- Must not have any license or background issues.
- Non-smoking facility.
- Pre-start modules must be completed prior to orientation.
- Orientation dates are available in August, September, October, November, and December 2024.
- Ensure compliance is submitted as required.
- Must be open to floating within the facility to meet needs.
- Must accept local candidates and accommodate a block schedule.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and cannot be first-timers for this position. Candidates must be prepared to work within the scope of the facility needs and adhere to compliance and orientation requirements.
