Field Service - Bakery Production Lines - Syracuse, NY
Regional Field Service Mechanic Tech Technician Engineer Maintenance Repair Maintain Install Troubleshoot Machine Repair Machinery High Volume Bakery Automated Handling & Packaging Automation Loaves, Buns, Muffins, Decorated Cupcakes, Cakes, etc. _ .
Support customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain High Volume Bakery Automated Handling & Packaging equipment at customer sites; generate service revenue; and adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements.
Key Roles:
*** Build credibility and trust with customers by conducting pro-active customer visits.
*** Support identification and resolution of customer issues, following appropriate escalation process.
*** Understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
*** Diagnose and resolve electrical, automation, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems.
*** Performs all administrative duties including timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance and installation documents, site and service documentation, and other related paperwork.
*** Utilize formal and informal training opportunities to maintain knowledge of technical advances and current industry trends.
High Volume Bakery Automated Handling & Packaging Machinery includes:
--- Conveyor Systems: Roller, Belt, Feeders, Product Aligners, Tray orienters, Stack Lifting, Trash Dumping, Auto Washers, etc.
--- Depanners: Shaker, Vacuum, Cyclone, Inverters, Sweepers, etc.
--- Pan & Tray Coolers & Cleaners
--- Pan & Tray Stackers & Unstackers
--- Basket Handlers
--- Slicers: Hinge, Butterfly, Full & Top Cutting; Reciprocating, etc.
--- Baggers & Bag Sealers
--- Machine Vision & X-Ray Inspection Equipment
--- Box, Basket, Tray & Dolly Loaders: Check Weighing; Height Measurement; Pattern Forming; Orienters; etc.
--- Box & Tray Formers: Card Inserters; Folders & Gluers; Labelers; etc.
