Job Description
**Job Title:** MRI Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Radiology/MRI
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Evening (12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 5 years of recent MRI experience preferred
**License:** ARRT (MR) Certification
**Certifications:** Active BLS required (must be American Heart Association)
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to perform MRI studies for all body parts in outpatient, inpatient, critical care, and ER settings
- Proficiency in Neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging
- Experience with adult and pediatric studies
- Familiarity with GE Architect and SECTRA PACS System
**Job Description:**
- Perform MRI studies for outpatients, inpatients, critical care, and emergency room (ER) patients, including pediatric cases.
- Utilize equipment: GE Explorer Lift 24.0 OS 1.5T, GE Architect 26.0 OS 3.0T, Siemens Espree 1.5T.
- Operate SECTRA PACS system, VRAD night service, and EPIC Electronic Charting.
- Independently work, especially during night hours (11:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Attend three day-shifts for orientation, followed by 2-3 night shifts as needed.
- Participate in weekend and weekday night shifts; additional hours may be available.
- Adhere to dress code requiring grey scrubs.
- Join a team supporting a 425-bed, Level Two Trauma Center Hospital with Stroke Certification.
- Complete orientation and training specific to the unit's needs.
