Job Description
Weekly Pay Range - $2939 To $3265
**Job Title:** Cath Lab Tech
**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology
**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 40-hour contract
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted
**License:** Washington Radiology License required
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS
**Must-Have:**
- Scrub and circulate skills
- Monitor and EKG skills (preferred)
- Experience in balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, Rotablader, paracentesis, hemodynamic monitoring
- Preferred experience with Watchman procedures, septal closure, and pacemaker/defib device placement
**Job Description:**
- Work in a Level II Trauma Center with up to 571 staffed beds
- Manage a daily caseload of 12-20 procedures per tech
- Perform a range of diagnostic, emergent, and intervention cardiac cases, including procedures like Impella, balloon pump, CTO, atherectomy, structural heart (TAVR, Watchman), PFO, cardiomems, EKOS, loop recorders, and occasional pacemakers
- Weekend work required
- On-call duties approximately 5-7 days per month
- Flexible to accommodate block schedules
- Charting experience in EPIC is required
- Expected to float between various like units within the skill set
- Completion of 40 hours of orientation required
All travelers are expected to be flexible and adaptable to best fit the needs of the facility. Communication devices required for the assignment are provided. Additional modules are non-billable and average 16 hours, completed pre-start and annually.
