Job Description
**Job Title:** PET CT Technologist
**Job Specialty:** PET CT
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 10 Hour Days
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** 1 to 2 years of PET CT experience
**License:** Rad/CT Tech License (NH)
**Certifications:** Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT or NMTCB), BLS
**Must-Have:**
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Willingness to work at multiple locations
**Job Description:**
- Focus on transforming the patient experience and delivering exceptional quality care.
- Use exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
- Interpret physician orders/instructions accurately to select appropriate software options and imaging parameters.
- Produce high-quality PET/CT images/studies for accurate diagnosis and treatment by physicians.
- Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications, implementing aseptic injection techniques, and adhering to radiation safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
- Train new technologists and troubleshoot the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.
- Utilize GE Discovery PET/CT Unit.
