Weekly Pay Range - $1785 To $1983
**Job Title:** Certified Operating Room Technician / Surgical Technician (CST)
**Job Specialty:** Surgical Services
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified
**Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in a Level I or Level II trauma center or large teaching hospital with experience in multiple services including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Thoracic, Trauma, Oral-Maxillofacial, ENT, General, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Orthopedics/Plastics Hand, Plastics, Urology, Colo-Rectal, Pediatric, and Adult.
**License:** IL License in hand is required upon submission.
**Certifications:** Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is needed one week prior to the start date. Booster not required.
**Must-Have:**
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work every other weekend and on-call
**Job Description:**
- Provide surgical assistance in various specialties and complex cases.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure equipment is functional and ready for use.
- Demonstrate expertise across a wide range of surgical services.
- Managed adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Willing to float to various units as needed, with potential notification to float 2 hours before shift.
- Adhere to schedule with limited request time off, especially around holidays and weekends.
- Complete 24 hours of non-billable orientation.
