**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

**Shift:** 12-hour rotating shifts

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2+ years required; must have NICU/PICU Level 3 experience

**License:** Louisiana State Licensure required

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
- National Accreditation through NBRC required

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with high-risk deliveries and supporting Level 3 NICU/PICU
- Proof of application for LA license if not already obtained

**Job Description:**

- Provide respiratory care support across multiple campuses, requiring 20-25 minutes of driving distance between sites.
- Work with a range of patient populations including General, NICU, and PICU.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and manage neonatal intubation if necessary.
- Manage airways and ventilators, conduct ABG punctures and analyses, and perform non-invasive ventilation.
- Administer inhaled medications, including nitric oxide, and respond to Code Blue and rapid response situations.
- Utilize equipment such as Servo U, Servo I, Trilogy, V60, EV300, Vapotherm devices, and more.
- Support from a dedicated team, including the Director of Respiratory Care, Shift Supervisors, and RT Educators.
- Use the Meditech Expanse charting system.
- Flexibility to float across all campuses as needed.
- Participate in a 36/48 hour rotation schedule with potential options for 7 on/7 off, 3/2, or 5/2 shifts.
- Weekend rotation required every other weekend.
- Availability for work on holidays as assigned unless specified in the contract.
