**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics

**Experience:** Minimum 18 months of recent NICU or PICU experience; Trauma Level 1 experience in a children's hospital within the last year required

**License:** Indiana State License required. For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have IN or compact license in hand. For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the IN/compact licensing process.

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, RRT, NRP (required for those placed in L&D, determined by client, traveler can obtain once offered). PALS preferred.

**Must-Have:** NICU, PICU, Vents, Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton G5

**Job Description:**

- First-time travelers accepted.
- May be assigned to NICU, PICU, and Pediatrics, and floating to any of these specialties can occur.
- May also float to a nearby affiliate hospital.
- Holiday requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 holidays that fall within the contract.
- A home unit of NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics will be assigned upon arrival at the facility but may change based on the facility's needs.
- Modules, averaging 6-12 hours to complete, are required and to be done pre-start. Modules are reported via the facility's online learning system.
- An orientation period of 12 non-billable hours will be provided.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required; the Flu vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
