Travel Medical Lab Technician in Detroit, MI

**Must-Have:** Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science

**Job Description:**

- Perform select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens.
- Engage in manual techniques or use laboratory instruments and information systems.
- Work under the direct supervision of a laboratory technologist, leader, or supervisor, following defined protocols.
- Potentially perform phlebotomy as needed.
- Communicate effectively with others.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge to perform laboratory functions.
- Focus more on clerical and customer service, including making phone calls and handling critical value notifications.
- Prefer candidates to have experience with SunQuest and Epic systems.
