Job Description
**Job Title:** Interventional Radiology Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Interventional Radiology
**Job Duration:** 14 weeks
**Shift:** Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified
**Experience:** 1-year minimum experience required; unit accepts first-time travelers
**License:** GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of application
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced certification, ARRT VI
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in IR/Angio/Special Procedures, including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, neurological studies, and hemodynamic monitoring
**Job Description:**
- Work with patient age groups ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
- Float and on-call requirements vary during the week, with weekend call every 4th to 5th weekend; call hours are 5:30 PM - 7:30 AM
- Utilize unit systems such as EPIC
- Be available to work during major holidays if they fall within the assignment period
- Participate in a pre-screening process conducted by clinical staff to determine clinical fit
- Maintain full compliance in a timely manner to ensure the start date is not postponed
**Additional Requirements:**
- Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing to ensure an on-time start
- Return travelers must complete a successful assignment outside of the system prior to rebooking at a new location
**Note:** The flu vaccine requirement is currently unknown.
