**Job Title:** Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
**Job Specialty:** Sterile Processing Technician
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Evening Shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not Specified
**Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience required
**License:** Will accept pending licenses, but must have the license in-hand by the specified Wednesday before the start date.
**Certifications:** Must be certified
**Must-Have:**
- 3 years of experience
- Certification in the relevant field
**Job Description:**
- Responsible for sterilizing and processing surgical instruments and equipment.
- No on-call duties are required for this position.
- Adhere to the 50-mile radius rule for specified units.
- Ensure valid certification copies are included with submissions.
- Experience with Epic charting is required for certain units.
- Candidates will be expected to float within their scope of practice within the facility.
- Inform the account manager of any vacation plans or previous employment history with the facility.
- The facility does not allow travelers to work on assignment for more than 365 days, regardless of time off between contracts.
- Candidates must provide references upon request.
- Orientation is provided for 16 hours.
Note: Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions; COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
