Job Description

**Job Title:** Cath Lab Technician

**Job Specialty:** Cardiology/Radiology - Cath Lab Tech

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Apply after the first call-off per pay period

**Experience:** 2 Years Required

**License:** Florida License or Compact License Required at Time of Application

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS; COVID-19 Vaccination Required (Exemptions Accepted if Medical or Religious)

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with Impella, IABP, Shockwave (Coronary & Peripheral)
- Experience with CSI/Jetstream/Laser equipment
- Experience with Volcano monitoring system
- General skills in Scrub, Monitor, Circulate, and EKG
- Cardiac catheterization skills including Balloon angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Pacemaker/defib device placement, Impella insertion, Left/Right heart catheterization
- Peripherals, Venous access, Hemodynamic Monitoring IR skills
- EKG skills including 12 Lead EKG, Rhythm Interpretation
- Preferred Cerner Charting Experience

**Job Description:**
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Assist with EP device implants
- Conduct peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Participate in on-call duties as needed
- Follow facility compliance and complete required modules (4-6 hours included)
- Pass/fail EKG exam with three attempts if needed
- This position is not open to local applicants and follows a 100-mile radius rule
- Open to first-time applicants
- RTO is not included in the contract but can be discussed with unit management
