**Job Title:** Surgical Services Technician

**Shift:** Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30, Mon-Fri)

**Experience:** Must have at least 3 years of experience

**License:** Valid state license; pending licenses accepted, but must be in-hand by the specified date

**Certifications:** Must be certified

**Must-Have:** Flu Vaccine (Required - No Exemptions)

**Job Description:**

- Perform sterile processing and ensure compliance with safety and sterilization standards.
- Support outpatient surgery center in providing sterile instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure timely availability of surgical sets.
- Follow strict protocols for decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sterilized equipment and inventory.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures regarding sterile processing.
- Must float within the scope of practice within the facility as necessary.
- Provide a copy of certification(s) required for the position.
- Adhere to return staff policies regarding previous employment.

**Additional Information:**

- 50-mile radius rule applies; locals not accepted for specified units.
- Up to 40 hours of requested time off accommodated per 13-week contract.
- Epic charting experience required for specific units.
- Background disclosure is necessary if any issues exist.

**Note:** Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours.
