**Job Title:** Surgical Technician

**Shift:** Day - 4x9 - 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Thursday

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year

**License:** Required for submission

**Certifications:** BLS, UAP (CST or NCCT preferred)

**Must-Have:** Familiarity with total joint surgeries and cesarean sections; experience with MAKO robot and orthopedic procedures is a plus.

**Job Description:**

- Work collaboratively in an operating room (OR) environment with a focus on adult, pediatric, geriatric, and obstetric cases.
- Assist with common surgical procedures including orthopedic surgeries, cesarean sections, laparoscopic appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and exploratory laparotomies.
- Operate and maintain surgical equipment such as C-arm, Mako robot, ligasure, and harmonic scalpel.
- Participate in on-call rotations, including one to two call shifts per week and one weekend call shift per month.
- Follow provided scrub color/dress code policies.
- Participate in team/self-scheduling for shifts, with potential adjustments including Fridays.
- Complete unit/department-specific orientation with 1-2 shifts.
- Availability to respond to holiday call requirements.
