Job Description

**Job Title:** Cath Lab Tech

**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology

**Job Duration:** 14 weeks

**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 18:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year

**License:** GA or Compact license must be in hand

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with cardiac implant closure devices
- Cardiac stent placement
- Diagnostic catheterizations
- IABP placement/removal
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Left heart catheterizations
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA)
- Rotabladder atherectomy
- Scrub procedures
- Equipment set up
- Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Sterile technique

**Job Description:**

- Schedule Requirements: Requested Time Off (RTO) max 7 days
- Weekend: Minimum 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 5 weeks
- Call Requirements: One weekend and 4 call days in a 6-week schedule
- Holidays: Expectation to work based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment period
- Major Holidays include:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving/Black Friday
- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Full compliance is required to start on time; otherwise, a two-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Patient Population: Adults - Geriatrics
- Orientation: 13 hours
- References: Two supervisory references are highly preferred
- Floating: Not specified
- Complete core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start
