Job Description

PEOPLE DIRECTOR – ELDERLY CARE PROVIDER – NOT FOR PROFIT

£80,000 - £85,000 + £6,000 CAR ALLOWANCE


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a People Director/HR Director or equivalent leadership role, ideally in the healthcare, social care, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, talent management, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., healthcare or care services) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law, regulatory requirements, and best practices in the care sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change, managing complex organisational dynamics.
  • Experience in managing HR functions within a multi-site organisation



Compass Corporate Services are delighted to partner with an ambitious not for profit Elderly care provider who have sterling reputation both in terms of the of their homes and was their 4.8 rating on Glass door, an industry high. Together we are seeking a People Director, a critical business hire who will be intrinsically important to their director travel for the foreseeable future.

Reporting to the CEO, responsibilities encompass responsibility for L&D, Strategic leadership, Recruitment & Talent, Digital HR solutions, Employee relations and wellbeing, change management and governance and board reporting. INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • Deadline for applications: Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a brief cover letter or supporting statement which includes their relevant experience and why they are interested in this role by 4pm on 7th October 2024.
  • First interview: First interviews (virtual) will be held on the 16th, 17th and 22nd October.
  • Shortlist: For those shortlisted for final interview there will be an opportunity to meet team members (virtually) in the weeks commencing 21st and 28th October 2024.
  • Final panel interviews: Final panel interviews (in person, London) will be held on the 29th October 2024.
