CAD Design Engineer | Newcastle, Staffordshire | Full Time | £35,000-£40,000 negotiable depending on experience

Caltherm design, manufacture and install Industrial Ovens, Driers and Furnaces and sell worldwide.

For over 40 years, we have supplied a huge range of industrial ovens, with recirculation air up to 650°C and furnaces with multi-zone control up to 1300°.

We design sophisticated custom solutions for loading, heating, curing and cooling applications in a huge range of industries.

Are you the right person for us?

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D is essential
• An understanding of steel construction techniques would be an advantage
• Experience in drawing light/medium weight structural steel frameworks desirable
• A knowledge of air movement systems incorporating ductwork and plenums would help

What will your role as a CAD Design Engineer look like?

• Conceptual design of thermal processing plant
• Design and drawing steel frameworks for ovens, dryers, and furnaces
• Design Product handling systems
• Providing drawings for workshop fabrication, including cutting lists
• Sales drawings to enhance tenders
