Account Director (3-Month FTC)

I am looking for an experienced Account Director to join my client on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role requires a hybrid skill set, combining client leadership with traffic management expertise to ensure seamless campaign delivery. Youll be client-facing while overseeing internal workflows, acting as the bridge between clients and creative/production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as an internal traffic manager, coordinating and scheduling projects, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently, and deadlines are met.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of campaigns, from briefing through execution, ensuring all elements are aligned and delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Work closely with internal departments, including creative, digital, and production teams, to manage workflow and balance workloads.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status, acting as a proactive problem-solver for any potential delays or roadblocks.
- Ensure that project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation are carefully managed, with any issues communicated transparently to clients.
- Conduct regular check-ins, presentations, and reporting for clients, ensuring they are kept informed on progress, performance metrics, and project outcomes.
- Offer strategic insights and recommendations to clients, helping shape the direction of campaigns and ensuring they align with overall business goals.
- Identify any risks or challenges early in the process, taking the lead on resolving issues and keeping all parties aligned.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in an Account Directorrole within an agency environment.
- Strong background in managing integrated campaigns across digital, social, and traditional platforms.
- Exceptional organisational and traffic management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- A client-focused mindset with proven success in maintaining strong client relationships.
- Experience overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both internally and with clients.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources with a high level of attention to detail.
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and guiding clients through project updates.
