Job Description

MEP Quantity Surveyor (Electrical or Mechanical Experience)
Location: Flexible (Primarily Commercial Projects)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + Company Car/Allowance
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Annual Leave: 25 Days + Bank Holidays

A leading company in the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering sector is seeking a MEP Quantity Surveyor with expertise in either electrical or mechanical disciplines. Key Responsibilities:

Cost management of MEP packages across commercial projects.
Preparation of tender documents, contracts, and cost control.
Working closely with project teams to ensure budgets are adhered to and commercial objectives are met.
Regular reporting on project financials, including forecasting and risk analysis.
Managing sub-contractors and supplier accounts, ensuring value for money.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within MEP, with a focus on either electrical or mechanical works.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project financials.
Experience in handling commercial construction projects.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
