Job Description

Reporting directly to the Group Facilities Manager, this is an Excellent opportunity to take on an independent role and have ownership & responsibility for the service and maintenance of the sites.

* To provide a high standard of both General and Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance across all Company properties, ensuring proper Compliance is met with all works and services

* The role is varied and diverse, including but not limited to PPM tasks, tap flushing & fixing, fault diagnosis, assessing plant operations, fire alarm testing, emergency lighting, HVAC, AHU systems, filter changing as well as general maintenance works within abilities such as minor fabric repairs, electrical, plumbing and heating

* Carrying out reactive and planned (PPM)works accordingly

* Highlighting improvement, remedial and corrective requirements and assist in costing effectively

1. The Primary Duties:

* To provide overall facilities maintenance support to the facilities department and business as a whole, within the warehouse, office and grounds as required.

* Completing all general handyman tasks, minor repairs.lk j and plumbing. Occasional assistance with minor furniture construction and removal.

* Carry out required electrical repairs and installations (as qualified) on all sites.

* Carry out replacement wiring and corrective actions where require and removal of redundant installations where required

* Sign off own works to required standards

* Assist with approved contractors / sub-contractors to ensure allocated works are completed as required and within required legislation

* Complete required PPM

* Supervising on site works where required

Essentials Experience, Skills and Abilities:

* Previous experience in multi skilled role is required

* Qualification in M&E / Maintenance / PPM works or Equivalent

* Be able to react and work on their own initiative to complete tasks

* Knowledge of Safe Working Practices

* Organisation skills

* High attention to detail

* Health & Safety aware

* Understanding of RAMS

* Computer literate & knowledge of MS Office

* Excellent communication and time management skills.

* The ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

* A 'can do’ attitude - able to work on own initiative.

* Adaptable to change

* Can be Flexible
