Senior Golang Developer

Position: Senior Golang DeveloperLocation: North York, ON (Hybrid, 3 days in office)About the Company:Our client, a dynamic startup making a positive impact, is looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join their growing team. You'll work closely with the CTO and have the chance to make a real difference by developing innovative solutions that support a great cause.Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end backend development, building products from the ground up- Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring scalability and performance- Monitor and measure system performance, analyze metrics, and logs- Collaborate with the team on data models, technical architecture, data flows, schemas, and API contracts- Work with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes (K8), CI/CD pipelines, and GIT for seamless development and deployment- Ensure robust security practices by writing vulnerability and regression tests- Understand front-end interactions and how to integrate effectively with front-end systems- Work with Python when needed and have a willingness to learn and adapt to different technologiesRequirements:- At least 2 years of Golang development experience- Strong understanding of cloud engineering and DevOps practices- Experience with backend development, scripting, and creating scalable systems- Proficiency with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GIT- Experience developing and integrating APIs- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams- Background in Computer Science or Engineering (Bachelor's degree required)- Experience working in a startup environment is a plusBonus Skills:- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and experience writing security tests- Willingness to work with Python when necessaryIf you're excited about working in a startup environment, building products from scratch, and contributing to a great cause, we want to hear from youPlease send your resume in Word format to Ankita Chowdhury at bronwyn.masseyquantum-qtr.com.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN $1,000 For more details, click here.
