Your duties will include but are not limited to: Maintaining updated knowledge of best practices in payroll as well as legislation and standards Reviewing best practices, identifying areas of concern, and implementing process improvements Responding to payroll inquiries both internally and externally Escalating complex payroll issues to the Manager as required Supporting various programs and initiatives and ensuring alignment with member needs Assisting with Government advocacy efforts Communicating on various platforms regarding payroll legislation across Canada Managing multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency Planning and facilitating payroll training What you bring to the job This is an amazing opportunity for a professional who takes initiative and is driven and excited by making things better and better, especially in payroll and professional development.
