We are seeking a Senior Recruiter Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team of industry professionals on the recruitment side. This role involves identifying, sourcing, and managing candidates for primarily Business Professional, Management Consulting, and IT roles. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to manage multiple recruitment projects independently, and possess knowledge of both Private and Public Sector recruiting, and specifically RFPs from the federal government of Canada. Job duties and responsibilities – Recruiter/Talent Acquisition: Search and identify by using online recruiting (internet, internal systems) to identify and recruit the best candidates for contract and permanent roles as required and using a variety of creative techniques. Conduct screenings, interviews, and assessments for both active requisitions and potential candidates. Interview and review technical skills and evaluate non-technical skills through behavioral interviewing and conduct references as required according to company procedures. Submit shortlisted candidates with comprehensive summaries and prepare them for formal presentations and interviews. Develop applicant resource base through pre-screening, maintaining current applicants, updating resumes, database files according to the company procedures. Development of recruitment network and leads. Communicate internally all qualifying job order details and status with other Resource and Account Managers. Ensure all internal control, quality, compliance and regulatory guidelines are met. Follow recruiting and quality processes such as tracking activities in the corporate applicant tracking system. Create and foster strong working relationships with internal resources and account managers and professional organizations to attract and recruit the best candidates Create detailed notes and assessments for each candidate, ensuring accurate database entries. Utilize corporate tools/process to source, track, submit, and document interaction with candidates and clients such as Bullhorn and LinkedIn Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Preference to degree in HR, Business or IT. HR designation an asset. 3 years of specialized recruiting / talent acquisition experience. Experience working with an applicant tracking system. Background in business or IT is preferred. Technical Proficiency: Expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn, ZipRecruiter, Indeed, ChatGPT, Word, and Excel. Aptitude for learning new technologies. Skills and Knowledge Strong organizational skills, including time management and multi-tasking.
