Data Governance Consultant (31857)

Myticas Consulting's British Columbia Client is looking for a Senior Data Governance consultant for a remote contract. Job Description: Develop, and implement plans that will roll out the Data Management and Governance programs within the client organization Coach and mentor Data Domain Owners and Stewards on Data Governance, Data Management processes (Metadata, Data Quality, Master data, etc.) Help set up and facilitate Data Domains Council and Data Governance Working Group meetings. Help implement data catalogue and data governance platform/capability. Worked with or have an understating of EDM Council DCAM assessment or an alternative data maturity assessment; be certified in EDM Council DCAM Assessment Experience with data management tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Atlan, Ataccama, etc. Advanced problem-solving skills, superior communication (verbal and written) with the ability to lead meetings, hold workshops with executives, communicate complex ideas effectively, advocate solutions and results to technology and business audiences Experience working independently, efficiently, and effectively under tight timelines and delivering results by critical deadlines Experience with client-facing activities such as requirements gathering, facilitating meetings, presentation creation, and ability to prepare client ready deliverables
