SCM SME

Airswift is seeking an SCM SME for a Source to Pay (S2P) project in the GEP system blueprint/design/implementation stream for one of our best clients in Calgary, AB. This will be a 14-20-month contract with some remote work permitted after the design phase of the project, which is expected to be complete at the end of February. The SCM SME will play a role in ensuring the SCM CLM business processes align with GEP's best practice. The SME will also coordinate/oversee training, UAT, and change management (transition to the new system processes for the SCM team and other internal stakeholders) to ensure a smooth system go-live. This stream is composed of 2 key components within the GEP system: Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Procure to Pay (P2P). SCM is the key stakeholder of the CLM tool and will share this role with Finance (AP) for P2P, each being represented by multiple modules within GEP. The SME will leverage their 20 years of SCM contracting and procurement industry experience, and act as the key SCM interface to the project. The SME will work closely with all key SCM stakeholders in Governance, Category Management, Operations, and Project procurement on CLM Project design decisions and will influence and communicate these decisions to the project, through blueprint, design, and implementation stages. Key Responsibilities • Leverage SCM industry experience to provide input and advise on new S2P business processes and proposed changes to existing processes aligned with GEP best practice. • Work closely with SCM leaders for Governance, Category Management, Operations Contracts & Procurement (C&P), Projects, and Materials Management on key system design decisions, relating to: ◦ SCM Processes, Workflows, and Approvals ◦ SCM Planning (C&P Plans, Contract Formation Schedules) & Strategies ◦ ISN and Scope Specific Qualification (including Approved Supplier List/Approved Manufacturer List) ◦ Sourcing, Evaluation, and Award ◦ Post Award Contract Management ◦ Vendor Portal ◦ Templates & Repository ◦ GEP Interfaces with Maximo and ISN ◦ Reporting ◦ Service and Material Masters ◦ Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) ◦ Materials Management • Coordinate with the SCM Governance Lead on key linkages/interfaces with the Maximo Optimization Project (S2P business process improvement stream) as it relates to the GEP system implementation: ◦ Transition of MSAs, standalone contracts, and purchase documents into GEP as well as entry of MSA and contract pricing. ◦ Review of purchase documents and accompanying transactional data (i.e. receiving documents and invoices) into GEP • General oversight of all data transfer into GEP • Support SCM Governance on P2P decisions and act as the SCM liaison between AP/LEMS and SCM teams (Operations C&P, Category Management, and Projects). This would relate to PO, receiving, and other P2P-related topics and decisions. • Oversee training, UAT, and change management activities/resources in support of the CLM implementation and rollout. Coordinate with SCM Systems Lead on supplier onboarding, including supplier registration and training on the use of the GEP vendor portal. Requirements • 20 years of O&G SCM industry experience – strong experience with O&G or Midstream companies is a plus. • Proven experience with Source to Pay (S2P) projects. • GEP system experience, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Procure to Pay (P2P).
