Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Good communication skills Works well under pressure Fully bilingual in AFRIKAANS and English Daily tasks and activities: Manage transactions with customers using cash registers Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate Collect payments whether in cash/card or credit Issue receipts, refunds or change Redeem vouchers Cross-sell products and introduce new ones Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information Greet customers when entering or leaving the store Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas State on the cash-up if the cash up is balanced, over or under. Bag, box or gift-wrap packages Handle merchandise returns and exchanges Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service. Balances cash float by counting cash at the beginning and end of the work shift. Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Retail Working hours apply.
