What You'll Do:
  • Lead Major Projects: Manage and execute restoration and reconstruction projects worth up to $2.5 million, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients, insurance adjusters, and claim representatives, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive Profitability: Prepare and maintain budgets, schedules, and ongoing project costs for multiple jobs simultaneously, while achieving margin goals and maximizing profitability.
  • Negotiate Effectively: Work closely with subcontractors to secure profitable construction contracts, ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor and Train: Lead company training sessions, onboard new project managers, and provide ongoing coaching to employees and subcontractors to foster a culture of growth and development.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Promote safety procedures on job sites, minimizing exposure and risk on projects, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Problem-Solve Proactively: Visit work sites to verify progress, assist crews in resolving challenges, and provide expert guidance to ensure successful project completion.
  • Exceed Customer Expectations: Deliver outstanding customer service by being readily available through various communication channels, providing timely updates, and addressing any concerns promptly.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience and Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry or in a supervisory role. A strong construction background is essential, particularly in restoration or reconstruction.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, direct, train, and coach employees and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Strong Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication skills with a talent for negotiation and relationship-building with clients and subcontractors.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction software programs such as Xactimate, PSA, and Contractor Connection. Experience with AIMC Matterport is a plus.
  • Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Problem Solver: Ability to independently recognize and solve problems, making sound decisions under pressure.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • Varied Work Sites: From clean environments to challenging conditions requiring PPE, including respirators and protective gear.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely and work in various physical postures such as stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
