Job Description

Summary/Objective

The CM is responsible to provide leadership and direction to employees while working on job sites. Ensure that all local and Federal safety standards are being followed and the workplace is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Produce projects schedules and status reports. Produce project bill of materials. Produce daily project safety documentation. Ensure project quality is in accordance with customer and company standards. Maintain company provided vehicles and resources are kept in a serviceable manner.

Essential Functions

* Establish construction guidelines and Scopes of Work.
* Work with Project Management team and ensure construction drawings details are adequate for proper construction. Review and redline drawings as required.
* Schedule and manage site installation crew.
* Manage project timelines and develop sites to completion within desired time frame.
* Keep projects within budgets.
* Review closeout documentation and file documents with appropriate tower company within contractual timeliness.
* Inspect and signoff on construction completeness upon validation of quality construction.
* Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
* Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress.
* Monitoring out of scope work and processing project change requests.
* Ensure that field crew timecards are filled out daily and submitted for weekly review.
* Ensure that company truck photos (truck bed and odometer) are taken every day and forwarded to the appropriate Operational staff member.
* Ensure that JHA's are completed for every job site and crew at the beginning of each workday.
* Ensure all customer deliverables and pictures are completed daily and turned into the construction coordinator or close out specialist.
* Perform site walks with clients to outline project requirements and establish timelines.
* Complete project schedules.
* Communicating with other departments, staff groups and customers.
* Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
* Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters.
* Carrying out responsibilities for the use of automated and computerized systems.
* Responding to and dealing with customer communication by e-mail, fax, telephone, and text.
* Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
* Briefing supervisors on the issues for that day.
* Maintaining all company provided resources in a serviceable condition.
* Have knowledge of and ability to meet and pass all DOT requirements
* Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
* Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

* Basic knowledge and understanding of RF site construction, antenna polarization and install optimization.
* Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawing and support documentation, RF data sheets, and basic electrical concepts.
* Able to communicate both verbally and electronically.
* Experience with construction of RF systems.
* Prior experience with carrier grade network buildout.
* Multi-tasking and ability to manage various projects in multiple markets simultaneously.
* Proven ability to define and meet individual and team project goals.
* Self-motivated and have an uncompromising work ethic.
* Possess superb written and verbal communication skills.
* Must be proficient in all Microsoft office products.

Supervisory Responsibility

* Sets goals for performance and deadlines in ways the comply with company and clients plans and vision.
* Trains new staff in the department.
* Organizes/oversees workflow and ensures that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
* Monitors employee productivity and provides constructive feedback and coaching. Provides timely performance evaluations.
* Partners with HR/Legal to address performance issues of employees in accordance with company policy.

Work Environment

* Work outdoors in all weather conditions; including but not limited to snow, rain and varying temperatures

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

* 40+ hours per week

Travel

* Travel within region as required.

Required Education and Experience

* 2-year degree or equivalent education.
* 5+ years' work experience, preferably in a field that offers an opportunity to gain a well-rounded background in construction and wireless site construction and an understanding of RF principles and design.
* 3 years of relevant experience.
