Job Description
Shift: 2pm-10pm (straight 8 hr. day), M-F with some Saturdays.
Job Summary:
" Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, robots, conveyor systems, production machines and other equipment.
" Troubleshoot electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, running electrical conduit, and read electrical prints.
" Perform equipment installation, PMs, and complete assigned projects.
Required Education:
" High school diploma or equivalent, certification (Preferred)
Required Years of Experience:
" Journeyman s Card -OR - 3-5 yrs of experience of maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant. Experience in industrial automotive preferred.
Required Skills:
" Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Robotics and PLC are a priority.
" Strong presentation skills, detail oriented, adaptability towards change, and teamwork.
" Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
" Mechanical, Technical & Electrical Expertise (preferred)
Job Responsibilities:
" Maintaining & supporting all equipment in JIT Production Environment and other areas as required.
" Complete all tasks, work orders, & PM's as directed by supervisor in a safe & timely manner.
" Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
" Perform repairs, rebuild & trouble shoot equipment to ensure production efficiencies are met.
" Daily record all line calls, work orders, PM's & work history electronically in eMaintenance System.
" Complete all required and applicable training required by Adient.
" Must be willing to work overtime as needed (daily, weekly, shutdowns etc.)
" Must be willing to work any shift on short, but reasonable notice.
" Must continuously improve and develop skills/knowledge.
" Complete all other tasks as requested by the Engineering Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor
" Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
" Maintain license to operate a Hilo, Scissor Lift and Articulating Lift
" Excellent attendance and steady work history

Manager is seeking a mechanically inclinded maintenance tech with manufacturing plant experience. Not seeking a facility manager.
Ideal candidate must be able to work 8-10 hr shifts, on feet most of the time and be capable of diagnosing, repair and install equipment in a fast paced environment. Must be able to lift 30lb unassisted. Be an expert with using hand tools. Strong experience with motors, chains and sprockets required.
