Qualifications :
Level I
*Graduate of a two (2) year Allied Health Training Program in Ultrasound Technology or a graduate of bachelors program in health science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing).
*1-9 years of experience in inpatient/outpatient cardiac ultrasound.
Required:
* ARDMS - RDCS (AE) , (PE) OR CCI (RCCS) credential
Or Must pass registry exam for ARDMS PE or CCI RCCS within 18 months of hire.
*New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program (NMRTT) required
*BLS
Level II
*Graduate of a two (2) year Allied Health Training Program in Ultrasound Technology or a graduate of bachelors program in health science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing).
*10 years or more of experience in inpatient/outpatient cardiac ultrasound.
Required:
* ARDMS or CCI credential: with all of the following specialties: RDCS (AE), (PE), RCS, RCCS, and RDCS (FE)or have promoted up with years of experience and assigned a Lead OR resource sonographer
*New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program (NMRTT) required
*BLS
