Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Corby
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000
Up Front Recruitment are looking to speak with Quantity Surveyors with Fitout experience for a company based in Corby. They are a leading fit-out specialist based in Corby, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial and contractual side of our projects. This includes:
• Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
• Monitoring project costs, budgets, and valuations
• Collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure cost control
• Producing accurate reports and ensuring projects are delivered within budget
• Handling contract administration and variation orders
• Managing supplier relationships and procurement processes
Requirements:
• Ideally 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in the fit-out sector
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in cost management software and MS Office
• Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
