Job Description
Our Local Authority Client in Basingstoke are seeking a Children's Occupational Therapist to join their team for a temporary contract initially.
Children's Occupational Therapist
Term time only
3 month initial contract with the view of extension
£400 per day
Located in Basingstoke, hybrid working considered
Key responsibilities:
Hold a caseload working across the different environments such as home, school and clinics.
Screen and triage referrals and ensure a strengths-based approach to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions to support the complex packages of care for children with additional needs in the community.
Provide specialist occupational therapy assessment, advice and interventions to children, young people and their families and to hold a caseload of children with complex needs.
Provide case management of an identified caseload of children and young people with highly complex long-term conditions and complex needs by utilising and promoting evidence-based careRequirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
