What’s the Opportunity?

As the Site Lead/Head of Engineering, you'll play a key role in developing groundbreaking AI-driven sports analytics products that will change the way outcomes are predicted in sports betting. This isn't just a management role—you’ll stay hands-on with code and shape the technical strategy of a Python-based, cloud-agnostic (though Azure-preferred) environment. You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading product development: Take charge of the technical roadmap, using Python to deploy cutting-edge AI applications.
• Building and scaling the team: Assemble and manage a high-performing engineering team in Belfast, leading them toward success.
• Staying hands-on with the code: Roll up your sleeves and lead from the front, contributing directly to the product's architecture and codebase.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience in a senior engineering or site lead role, ideally in AI, data analytics, or sports technology.
• Expertise in Python and cloud technologies (Azure preferred, but experience with AWS or GCP also valuable).
• A passion for sports analytics, AI, and the fast-evolving world of sports betting.
• Strong leadership skills, with a desire to mentor and build a world-class team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and make strategic technical decisions.
