Compliance Engineer
Sheffield
Up to £50,000 depending on experience.

We are looking to recruit a Compliance Engineer, who will ensure the maintenance and inspection of all equipment is carried out in compliance with statutory laws and regulations, whilst also in line with the companies own policies.
This is a leading role within the Engineering department, where the successful applicant will be tasked with identifying improvement opportunities within the maintenance and inspection process.

Responsibilities of the Compliance Engineer:

Manage the Maintenance Management System, ensuring the departments engineers understand best practices.

Ensuring the job catalogue is suitable and it covers all aspects of mandatory and statutory maintenance and inspection.

Show the level of compliance across specified areas by producing reports.

Stay up to date with any changes to legislation and communicate these to other engineers.

Coordinate with and manage contractors who will service and maintain the equipment and systems across the site.

What we are looking for in the Compliance Engineer:

Experienced man-manager, who is self-motived and an excellent communicator.

Committed with a strong drive to succeed.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to organise important information for problem solving.

A flexible approach to work, and a team player.

Excellent project management skills.
