Job Title: Product Analytics and Governance Lead

About the Team

The UW Standards & Governance team ensures regulatory adherence for all products throughout their lifecycle. We handle product governance, development, and underwriting control, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

Role Overview

As the Product Analytics Lead, you’ll support the Product & Underwriting Governance Manager. Your responsibilities include managing the annual review plan, maintaining the product register and review dashboard, and submitting change and proposition forms. You’ll analyse product performance, compile governance reports, and work on internal binding agreements. Collaboration with Compliance and Conduct teams to address regulatory requirements is also key.

Key Responsibilities

Compile Metrics: Gather product governance metrics from sources like Tableau and SQL.

Maintain Registers: Create and update the product register and annual review dashboard.

Analyse Performance: Assess product metrics and suggest improvements.

Board Reporting: Ensure timely compilation of information for governance reports.

Support Projects: Create bespoke reports for ad-hoc projects and governance deep dives.

Must-Haves

Experience with MS Excel and Power BI

Commercial or insurance experience in governance, operations, or underwriting

Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills

Attention to detail and accuracy
