V7 Recruitment are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work permanently for one of our reputable clients on high value Data Centre projects based in Manchester.

The client is a well-established M&E construction business that specialise in Critical Infrastructure and Data Centre Projects.

Ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have the following skills...

• Electrical engineering qualifications (or similar field)
• HNC in electrical engineering (City & Guilds 2396 considered)
• Experience in engineering design, in Data Centers would be preferred
• Amtech / AutoCAD / Microsoft experience is preferred
• Willing to travel
• Rights to work in the UK
• Excellent communication skills

Electrical Design Engineer Duties will include...

• Produce electrical designs and schematics for critical environments
• Perform design calculations and lighting design
• Conduct site surveys and write engineering reports
• Develop proposals, attend design meetings, and liaise with sub-contractors
• Communicate with site teams for installation/commissioning and assist procurement
• Data Centre installations, UPS, and generator systems
