Job Description
The Role:
As a QESH Manager and a vital member of a Senior Leadership team, you will be instrumental in steering our strategic initiatives to ensure we exceed expectations in quality, safety, and environmental compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Quality and Compliance:As the QESH Manager, you will spearhead the development and implementation of the departments strategic objectives You will ensure that all operations consistently exceed the standards set by ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 to enhance product quality.
- Implementation and Maintenance of EN 1090 EXC Class 2
- Auditing
- Accident and Incident Investigation
- CAPA Management
- Compliance and Monitoring
- Policy and Procedure Development
- Equipment Servicing and Inspections
- Travel Requirements:This role requires occasional travel within the UK to manage and oversee QESH requirements for various projects.
Qualifications / Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sector, with a proven track record in leadership and strategic planning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of QESH regulations and ISO standards, including detailed familiarity with EN 1090 EXC Class 2.
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate required.
- Internal Auditor Qualification in either ISO 9001 or ISO 45001 is a must.
- Full UK driving License
- Lead Auditors Qualification in ISO 9001 or ISO 45001 is highly desirable.
- Responsible Welding Coordinator qualifications are desirable.
